DALI Reveals KUPID, Premium Bookshelf with Big Personality

KUPID wraps true hi-fi performance in a compact and colorful package
DALI KUPID

AUGUST 28, 2025, PICKERING, CANADA – DALI (Danish Audiophile Loudspeaker Industries) has announced its latest bookshelf speaker, KUPID. Representing an accessible entry point to genuine hi-fi sound, KUPID delivers the performance of far larger speakers in a compact and stylish package. The speakers will be available in November 2025, in time for the holiday season, with a suggested retail price of USD 750/CAD 750 per pair.

Despite its diminutive size and colorful cabinets, KUPID is a serious loudspeaker, imbued with DALI DNA throughout. It features a proprietary 4.5” paper and wood fiber cone with a ferrite magnet driver assembly and low-loss rubber surround, and when paired with the dual flare bass reflect port, is designed to deliver quick and tight bass and dynamic mid-range frequencies. The custom 26mm soft dome tweeter and cross-over and baffle design is carefully tuned for gracefully integrated and detailed highs with smooth dispersion and minimal distortion. Together, these components create a robust and expansive soundstage that defies the speaker’s size.

Optimized for consistent impedance of 4 ohms, KUPID is easily driven by a range of amplifiers for traditional hi-fi enthusiasts or desktop listening. Included wall-mount brackets and rubber feet, combined with the cabinet and port design, ensure that placement is easy and flexible for a variety of living environments, even allowing KUPID to be placed as close as 1” from a wall without creating unwanted sound turbulence and resonance.

“KUPID is a fresh new approach to hi-fi that is accessible and easy to live with,” says Jason Zidle, Brand Manager for DALI in the Americas. “This is a DALI speaker, through and through, but in a compact form factor and with fun finishes that bring a bold pop to DALI’s usual sensible Danish industrial design.”
