Binary releases EP321 MEMS IEM

Binary Presents EP321 Hybrid IEMs: World’s First IEMs with Direct Drive MEMS Driver!!

Binary Acoustics has come up with a very special new product, and we are super excited to introduce you to their latest pair of in-ear monitors, the Binary EP321. We are calling it a special product because it’s the first IEM in the industry that features the brand new Direct Drive MEMS driver technology. If you are familiar with the MEMS technology, you require an extra energizer or amplifier that powers the driver.

However, Binary EP321 features a rather unique Direct Drive MEMS driver that doesn’t require any specified amplifier to work. The pair features a six-driver hybrid setup featuring dual dynamic drivers, three balanced armature drivers, and a direct drive MEMS driver unit. With professional crossover in place, the Binary EP321 delivers a powerful yet refined sound, one that captivates you with its impressive resolution and next-level imaging performance. On top of this, Binary has also treated the EP321 with a unique yet appealing design. As we have mentioned previously in today’s blog, the Binary EP321 is a very special pair of in-ear monitors. Binary has set the EP321 apart from this hugely competitive market with its six-driver tribrid configuration. The pair is equipped with dual dynamic drivers(10mm dd+6mm Passive diaphragm), three high-performance Balanced armature drivers, and one direct drive MEMS driver unit.

The MEMS driver unit is specifically implemented to achieve ultra-low distortion and next-level clarity in the ultra-high treble region. This MEMS driver is powered by a built-in energizer, allowing it to run smoothly from conventional sources without a separate amplifier. The dual-DD module features a 10mm dynamic driver unit and a 6mm passive diaphragm system. This dual driver setup reproduces quality bass with punchy mid-bass and deeply-extended sub-bass response.

To complement this stunning high-frequency band and punchy bass response, Binary has featured three high-performance balanced armature drivers on the EP321. We have a full-frequency balanced armature driver that produces amazing vocals and precisely defined instruments in the midrange section. Lastly, a composite dual BA driver produces a clean and engaging treble response. Together with a precise physical crossover and a professionally designed electronic crossover system, the Binary EP321 packs in a solid sound with rich bass, crystal clear midrange, and a neatly defined high-frequency band.

Binary pairs the advanced internals with a striking industrial design. The EP321 features CNC‑machined stainless steel faceplates with irregular geometric elements that catch and reflect light from different angles, giving each shell a distinctive, eye‑catching look. The inner shells are manufactured using high-precision 3D printing technology, and they are made up of high-quality Resin material.

Each earpiece weighs just 7.5 grams. Additionally, with an ergonomic shape, the pair disappears into your ears, promising a super comfortable user experience. The pair features standard 0.78mm 2-pin connectors; it comes with a high-quality stock cable and top-quality ear tips. The cable has a fixed termination; you can choose between 3.5mm and 4.4mm while purchasing the pair.

Binary EP321 is not just another pair of IEMs around the block; it’s an advanced product that brings together a modern driver solution with an exquisite exterior. The pair is supreme in terms of comfort, sound, and overall user experience. Binary has also priced the pair attractively; it is available with us priced at $309.99, feel free to check out more details here.
