Campfire Audio Introduces Iris: An Entry-Level Hybrid IEM at an Accessible Price Point

A compact, transparent in-ear monitor crafted for everyday listening, bringing Campfire’s signature sound to a wider audience.

Portland, OR, November 25, 2025 — Campfire Audio has announced the launch of Iris, a new hybrid-design in-ear monitor (IEM) that delivers Campfire’s signature sound at the consumer-friendly price of $349—arriving just in time for the holiday season. Iris brings powerful performance, elegant design, and everyday durability to listeners seeking an accessible entry into high-fidelity audio.

Designed for Everyday Listening

Iris is built for listeners who want great sound without the fuss: newcomers dipping their toes into HiFi for the first time, longtime fans wanting something more rugged for daily travel,or anyone searching for a premium-feeling gift that doesn’t require any audiophile expertise to enjoy.

“With Iris, we wanted to capture the spirit of Campfire in its simplest, most approachable form,” said Ken Ball, founder of Campfire Audio. “It’s a joyful, easygoing IEM. Something that feels instantly familiar yet still delivers that signature clarity and character people expect from us.”

Built on Campfire’s Acoustic Foundation

Inside Iris is Campfire’s custom 10mm ADLC dynamic driver, paired with a dedicated balanced armature for crisp, engaging highs. This hybrid system produces a warm, easy-listening signature that balances clarity with musicality—one that  feels instantly welcoming, whether streaming a podcast on a commute or unwinding with a favorite album.

Its fully transparent 3D-printed shell invites listeners to peek at the precise engineering within, while stainless-steel accents add visual structure and durability. Compact, featherlight, and comfortable for long sessions, Iris is intentionally designed to be the IEM that can be taken anywhere. Sitting just above Axion ($249), Iris offers a higher-performance entry into Campfire’s lineup before stepping into the brand’s upper-tier audiophile models.

Premium Touches, Right Out of the Box

Iris arrives with a premium suite of accessories typically reserved for higher-tier models, enhancing its value as a holiday-ready purchase:

  • Time Stream Metal Cables – 3.5mm & 4.4mm
  • Gray Leather Wallet Case
  • Breezy Bag Jr mesh zipper case

  • Foam Ear Tips (S/M/L)
